‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3: An all-new trailer

“Rick and Morty” centers on a mad scientist Rick who drags his grandson Morty on many adventures across the universe. The season 3 trailer features a pickle Rick welcoming Morty to “the darkest year of our adventures.” It follows other more clips of adventures “getting darker,” for what the show is all about.

The “Rick and Morty” Season 3 trailer did not come as a surprise, however. As we remember, Adult Swim decided to pull the best prank during April Fool’s Day when they showed something. That was when they revealed some footage from the first episode of the third season. It’s definitely the release date we all have been waiting for. But we’re surely glad to have seen an all new trailer with enough footage to keep viewers happy before the premiere.

Dan Harmon confirms no feud with Justin Roiland

The season 2 of the comic science fiction series ended in October 2015 only to make a come back just now. Such a long span of time left some fans worrying about a falling out between Harmon and his co-creator and star Justin Roiland.

Harmon spoke up through a Twitter thread addressing the fans worrying about any show-threatening issue. And to set things straight, there was never a fuss between the two as Harmon confirmed. He says the delay of the third installation was because season 3 “took long to write.” He added, “it was S3 of a show that we were scared to make worse than S2 or S1.” Harmon even jokingly tweeted that the alleged beef between them would probably have been a good idea. The fight could’ve sped them up. However, there was no fight.

“Rick and Morty” season 3 returns July 30th at 11:30 p.m. on Adult Swim. Watch the trailer below:
